Official: Russia to set firms' budget contribution in March–April

MOSCOW, Feb 22 (PRIME) -- Russian companies are to publish their financial reports for 2022 at the end of March, when their contribution to the budget will be defined, Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Sazanov said on Wednesday.

"We have to wait until the end of March to account for 2022. The reports for 2022 will be submitted at the end of March," Sazanov said.

"There are several proposals -- there are proposals by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, there are the Finance Ministry's proposals, there are alternative proposals. We will notify you straightaway when we choose the payment order."

First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov said earlier that the government was discussing a one-time budget contribution in 2023 with large companies.
